We are bringing back a fan favorite Recess! Join us on February 3, 2024, for Snowshoeing at Whitewater Canyon with Dubuque County Conservation. We will be hiking the snow-covered golf course and have a bonfire afterward for a morning of community and recreation.
We will meet at the Whitewater Canyon parking lot at 9:30 AM to get our gear and start our trek! Our guide will take us on an hour-and-a-half or so excursion. All are welcome regardless of experience! This is FREE to attend, BUT please register to secure a pair of rental snowshoes or indicate if you are bringing your own! From Dubuque, take hwy 151 South towards Cascade. Approximately 5 miles Northeast of Cascade take Curoe Road South and follow to access land on right side of road.
