We are expanding our Recess programming! Join us this February for a guided snowshoe hike through Whitewater Canyon. Gear rentals and guides courtesy of Dubuque County Conservation.

We will meet at the Whitewater Canyon parking lot at 9:30 AM to get our gear and start our trek! Our guide will take us on an hour and a half or so excursion through this glorious park. All are welcome regardless of experience! This is FREE to attend, BUT please register to secure a pair of rental snowshoes or indicate if you are bringing your own! What is She Unites Recess? Our Recess programming is our intentional community-building activity-based program. We are on a mission to connect amazing women through unique opportunities that get us out of our comfort zones.

Directions from Dubuque: Head west on Hwy 151 for roughly 18 miles. Turn left onto Curoe Road. Take slightly right to stay on Curoe Road. Take right onto Whitewater Canyon Road. This will be right before Curoe Road turns to gravel and you enter Jackson County. There is only one gravel parking lot at this park. We will be gathered there.
