Original Event: We are bringing back a fan favorite Recess! Join us on February 1, 2024, for Snowshoeing at Filmore Fairways with Dubuque County Conservation. We will be hiking the snow-covered golf course and have a bonfire afterward for a morning of community and recreation.
We will meet at the Filmore Fairways parking lot at 9:30 AM to get our gear and start our trek! Our guide will take us on an hour-and-a-half or so excursion. Plan for two hours in total with getting gear on and off, plus snowshoeing. All are welcome regardless of experience! This is FREE to attend, BUT please register to secure a pair of rental snowshoes or indicate if you are bringing your own! If you want to join us in the She Unites mission, please consider making a donation when registering for this event. Every dollar helps us grow our organization and make an impact in the lives of women in the Dubuque region.
What is She Unites Recess? Our Recess programming is our intentional community-building activity-based program. We are on a mission to connect amazing women through unique opportunities that get us out of our comfort zones.
